Men’s Senior

Portumna RFC’s Senior Men’s team plays in the Connacht J2A League,  a competitive grade that combines real challenge with a strong community atmosphere. We’ve the commitment, the coaching, and the pitch (and dressing rooms for the upcoming 2025-26 season!.)  We’re a rural team that runs on effort, honesty and the kind of dressing-room spirit you get in a squad that’s built from the ground up.

Where We Are

• A solid group of players who turn up, train hard, and give everything
• Recent cup and league fixtures have shown we’re more than able to compete
• But week to week, we’re running tight on depth, and it’s time to change that.

What we need now is more numbers.

Who We’re Looking For

• Former youth players ready for adult rugby
• Players coming back after time away
• GAA lads looking for a winter outlet
